Expressions of Interest are open for priority Koala habitat in the Port Macquarie region of NSW

Are you interested in diversifying your income by earning annual conservation payments for conserving priority Koala habitat on your property?

We’re calling for expressions of interest (EOIs) from landholders in eligible areas around Port Macquarie. Check the map to see if your property is eligible.

EOIs will be prioritised (on a first-come, first-served basis) and are open in eligible areas within the Local Government Areas of Port Macquarie-Hastings and Kempsey.

Interested landholders are invited to submit an EOI for a site assessment by the Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT), by lodging a completed EOI form or by calling 1300 992 688.

Interested landholders are encouraged to submit early as EOIs for the site assessments close on
21 May 2018.

Located within the Port Macquarie region, the tender area supports priority Koala habitat important to the long-term conservation of koalas in NSW. Read more about the priority Koala habitat.
