The BCT welcomes donations and opportunities to partner with like-minded collaborators. In order to ensure alignment in values and goals, the BCT will assess potential donors and partners against pre-determined assessment criteria* covering:
- Ethics and fairness
- Suitability
- Alignment
- Capability, viability and integrity
The screening process will be applied in a fit-for-purpose manner, with a simpler screening process applied for donations, particularly those from individuals.
The BCT will apply a more detailed screening process for complex partnership arrangements.
The BCT will carefully consider donations or partnership arrangements where the BCT has deemed that potential environmental or social harm or regulatory or reputational risk arise from the activities undertaken by a prospective partner or donor.
